The Vale is known as the breadbasket of the Northern Kingdom. It consists mainly of farmlands. Its governing center is a large town (small city) called Valetown. The Vale is ruled by a council, but everyone recognizes that, currently, the true power is the “Patriarch” – an older man who is very wise and well liked by all. The Vale is a quiet area, full of small hamlets, towns, mill towns and inns that dot the main roads.
