Tioldor is the only elf city that permits humans and other demi-humans to visit it. Visitors may apply for visas at the Elven embassy in Caleston or Cyrka. The elves do not permit unescorted visitors within their lands, nor do many elves live outside of their lands. Visitors are taken by carriages without windows from these embassies to Tioldor. This is not an unpleasant experience as the interiors are luxurious and bright and it is said that time seems to stand still within, but none are bored.

The outlander’s section is set just outside the city wall-groves, which rise to form a solid wall of trees many dozens of feet hight. Within, it is said that Tioldor is a place of light and darkness, music and magic all intertwined in a dream-like state, much like the rest of the lands of the elves.
