Rahai is a Dwarf seaport on the southeastern edge of the dwarf-state of Freilund, facing the Eastern and Southern oceans. Despite it being a seaport, there is not a single Dwarf ship afloat, rather this serves as a small port for commerce with outlying islands, possibly the elves and other ships that come from the kingdoms of Men.

Rahai is unique in that the entire port is inside a cliff. Ships must sail into tunnels carved into the cliffs and there are many ballistae facing outwards towards the ocean. During the Civil War between North and South, the Southron Empire launched a small retaliatory raid on Rahai in response to Freilund’s support of the Northern Kingdom. The entire fleet was wiped out by the dwarfs and not a single ship made it to the tunnels, much less inside to the port city carved out of rock.
