Eowea is a conclave center for the halflings who live in Freilund. The majority of the time, it is an area of empty in the southern area of the Vast Lakes region. However, once every three years, the halflings will use this area to set up a temporary city for their Conclave and Council – the time that the halfling clans meet to discuss issues affecting their state within Freilund and to agree on (actually more cheerfully and vociferously argue about) policies and governance going forward. Eowea becomes part festival, part massive feasting area and part tent-capitol. Once finished, there is the “Big Burning” by which the halflings destroy their trash and some of the temporary housing and then return to their nomadic travels.
