The Dragon Isles are located to the southwest of the Lands, separating the Western and Southern Oceans. They are claimed by no race or government and they remain largely devoid of civilization or population by the civilized races.

They have held that name for as long as written records exist for all of the races. Elvish oral traditions hold that there was once a great mystery and magic surrounding the islands, but they do not recall if the myths of dragons are true or not. What is know that there are several large islands that have one central volcano or mountain with vast networks of caverns and tunnels. Surprisingly, no race or creature, aside from local flora and fauna, has established a foothold there. Humans and halflings have established small outposts at various times, but they end up being abandoned. There is nothing of value resource-wise on the islands that can’t be more easily obtained from the main continent.
