Cura, the “City of Swamps”, is located at the northern edge of the Vast Lakes region within the Southron Empire. Cura is a trading outpost with the gnome-lands within Freilund as well as a fishing and agricultural center. Many farms and rice paddies are maintained in the swamps surrounding Cura. A large contingent of the Southron Army is located here to keep the swamp beasts away from the farmers and city.
